A message from Tiflis states that 25,000 Armenian troops have occupied Erivan.
Erivan is the fortified capital of a Transcaucasian Government, on an elevated plain to the north of Ararat, on the river Sanga. For centuries the town has been held alternatively by Persian and Turks. The province has a population of 1,000,000 nearly all Armenians and Tartars.
